Opioid Grants
Get Grant Funding
Georgia is receiving almost $640 million in opioid settlement funds over the next 18 years. In early 2024, Georgia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) announced they were working on a grant application portal and a statewide roadshow to educate communities on grant funds available through the settlement. In April 2024, the Georgia Opioid Crisis Abatement Trust was launched to distribute and administer funds for recovery, treatment, and prevention. The application portal is now live and accepting proposals for funding.
