During Meet the Consultants, you’ll be able to ask questions on topics like:

  • Writing stronger, more competitive grant proposals
  • Building and sustaining grant funder relationships
  • Planning a realistic grants calendar
  • Staying compliant with grant reporting and award requirements
  • Finding and evaluating new grant funding prospects

This session is designed for nonprofit leaders, program managers, and staff who want practical, immediate guidance they can apply right away. Bring your questions and walk away with strategies you can use before the next deadline hits.

Keep Your Public Profiles Updated Before Year-End

As you head into 2025 planning, now is the perfect moment to refresh the online profiles funders use to vet your organization. A few quick updates can strengthen credibility, reduce confusion, and support stronger funding conversations.

Profiles  to update may include:

  • Candid/GuideStar: Mission, programs, outcomes, FY25 budget, 990s, board list
  • Charity Navigator: Program descriptions, impact metrics, financial info
  • Local Community Foundation portals: Updated contacts, initiatives, and service areas

Pro Tip: Candid Go for Gold

If your organization holds a Gold Seal on Candid and has a budget under $1M, you can qualify for a free Candid Pro account.

Find more details at  https://help.candid.org/s/article/Go-for-the-Gold

Five-Minute Tune-Up

  • Upload the most recent 990 or audit
  • Confirm mission and program language matches your website
  • Update staff and board listings
  • Verify your FY25 budget and financial details
  • Check all links (website, donation page, socials)

Refreshing these profiles now sets you up for a smoother start to the new year, especially as funders review organizations ahead of spring deadlines.
